CA Intermediate Registration Fee 2024

The first step for CA Intermediate level is to enroll or register in the course through online registration with ICAI.

There are 2 methods for this: CA Foundation Route and Direct Entry Route; therefore, there is a slight difference in the fee structure as well.

Students registering for CA Intermediate Course through this route are given an option to select single or both the Groups as per their convenience. 

The Rs. 2,000 of Student Activity is the cost of complementary study material along with other seminars, conferences, and workshops organized by ICAI.

CA intermediate Fee 2024: Journal Fee (Optional)

All students registering in CA Intermediate can opt for the following journals at the time of registration:

CA Intermediate Registration Renewal Fee 2024

The registration for the CA Intermediate course is officially valid only for a term of 4 years, after which you need to renew it from ICAI to become eligible for appearing in the CA intermediate Exam. The renewed registration is again valid for a further 4 years term. To renew your CA Intermediate Registration, a fee of Rs. 400 is to be paid through the SSP portal.

CA Intermediate Fees for Application Form/Examination Form

To be able to give the CA Intermediate/IPCC Exam and to get the admit cards, students need to fill and submit the CA Intermediate Application Form/Exam Form before the last date announced by ICAI. It is a very important step, and students must ensure that all the details are filled accurately.

  1. After the last date, a late fee of INR Rs. 600 or US $ 10 is charged along with the above examination fee.

CA Intermediate Training Fee 2024

CA Intermediate ICITSS Fee

Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) is a four weeks long program introduced by ICAI under the new scheme. It is mandatory for CA Intermediate students to complete this training before registering for practical training. The program is divided into the following:

CA Intermediate Articleship Training/Audit Training 2024

Articleship/audit training is also referred to as Practical Training, which is an important part of the CA Course. As per ICAI’s present curriculum, all the CA students have to compulsorily do a three-year Practical Training to become a Chartered Accountant. 

CA Intermediate students should fill the forms and register for Articleship training just after the completion of ICITSS training.

Doing training in a reputed firm will add experience, value, and prominence. You must be confident and know how to answer questions in the interview to get CA Articleship in a good firm.

As per CA Articleship rules laid down by ICAI, students need to submit all the necessary forms within one month after starting CA Articleship. Also, the registration fee of Rs. 2,000 for CA Articleship needs to be submitted.

In case of delay in submission of forms for articleship, the student will be required to pay Condonation Fee (late fee).

Assessment of Practical Training amount

If you want to re-appear in the two tests conducted under the Practical Training, you will be charged a fee of Rs. 200 for re-registration.

CA Intermediate AICITSS 2024 Fee

Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) is a 4-week training programme. Students need to compulsorily register for AICITSS during the last 2 years of their practical training but before the CA Final Exams. It is divided into two parts:

CA Intermediate Residential Programme (Optional)

The Residential Programme is a four-week practical training on Professional Skills Development. This training is for the newly qualified and aspiring Chartered Accountants. The cost of Residential Programme is Rs. 48,000 inclusive of lodging, daily meal, tea/refreshment, along with course and study material charges.

Fee for Conversion CA Intermediate 2024 (only for students of IPCC)

After the introduction of the new scheme in the CA Course, students who are currently enrolled under the old scheme have to convert their registration under the new scheme. The last attempt for CA IPCC was in Nov 2023.

The conversion charges for conversion from IPCC to CA Intermediate is Rs. 1,000.

Concessions in CA Intermediate Fees 2024

Did you know that there are some provisions for fee relaxation/concessions in CA Course Fee given by ICAI?

In a recent announcement, ICAI has waived off 75% Registration course fee. This exception is made only for the students who are from the following places:

  • Newly formed Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, 
  • Ladakh,
  • And 8 North-eASTERN States (Arunachal Pradesh, Assa, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura)

The prospective or current Chartered Accountant students can take benefit from this concession until 31st March 2023.

Please note that this relaxation is made ONLY in the registration fees. Other fees (students activity fee and article assistant registration fee), which are to be paid at the time of registration, will remain the same.

ICAI has also made special considerations in the CA Course Fee for differently-abled students, and children of military and para-military forces who have lost either of their parents in action.

CA Intermediate Coaching Fee

In addition to the study material and other learning facilities provided by ICAI, students feel the need to get personalized and better guidance on subjects from the top faculties.
