When going to the ICAI exam hall for the CA Intermediate exams, aspirants must ensure that they carry these essential documents positively: 

• ICAI Admit Card printed copy
• Identity proof like an Aadhar Card or Driving Licence. You should ensure the name is the same as your admit card
• Two passport-sized photographs

Students must note that they can download the admit card only three times. Hence, they should ensure that they download the admit card in advance and have multiple copies of it. Without a valid admit card, the authorities will not allow students to enter the exam hall. 

CA Intermediate Exam Form and Correction Window

To sit for the CA Intermediate Jan 2027 exam, applicants should fill out an exam form available on ICAI’s website. Also, students can fill out the exam form as part of their preparation and group. 

ICAI always advises students to submit the CA Intermediate exam form after reading the guidelines completely and filling it correctly. However, in case after completing the exam form, a candidate finds any error in the form, ICAI has provided the provision of a correction window wherein students can make the necessary changes to their exam form in case of any error. Maintaining discipline within the examination hall is vital; exam invigilators have authority over invigilator duties, including taking immediate action against cheating, digital devices, or unapproved communication among candidates. Below are important points students should keep in mind before sitting this examination:

• CA Intermediate aspirants have eight months for exam preparation. So they can prepare for the exams accordingly. Moreover, they can choose which group to appear for. They can sit for both the groups or either of the groups and they should choose this before filling out the CA Intermediate exam form.
• Bring your pens, pencils, erasers, and calculators – borrowing is not permitted from others – for use during examination hall examinations.
• Also, no additional documents for rough work may be brought inside for rough work purposes.
• Please observe the exam duration listed on your question paper and try to complete the exam within the timeframe.
• You must ensure you read and follow all the instructions during the exam.
• Make sure to write correctly your roll number, question code, and any relevant details on your answer booklet.
• Print your CA Intermediate admit card to check details in advance, and carry an identity proof with matching details during the CA Intermediate exam.
• Pack necessary stationery, making sure that your calculator is functioning.
• Bring a clear water bottle for hydration purposes and wear a silent wristwatch to aid in tracking exam progress.
• Registration for the CA Intermediate exam is ongoing throughout the year, and for September 2024, registration was closed as of March 1st, 2024.

ICAI will release the CA Intermediate admit card before 14 days of the CA Intermediate Exam Date. Entry to the examination hall requires a valid admit card as it provides essential details like the CA Inter exam date 2027, center name, candidate details, and roll number. Besides, students must note that ICAI will not issue physical admit cards. Instead, students need to download the admit card online from the official website. Hence, students should keep an eye out for the dates of the admit card issue and then download the admit card accordingly. 

Do not appear in the exam without practice. Practice makes a man perfect. Practice at least past ten-year papers or CA Intermediate mock test papers along with the practice paper. Facing failure in the mock test papers is better than facing failure in the Final Exam.
