UP Board Class 11 English Exam Preparation Tips
You will get unseen passages in the question paper for the reading section, so you should practice some passage questions. During the exam, do not spend much time in the passage. Complete it at once and at least attempt even if you don’t know the answer to any question.
The writing section will have a word limit and other instructions, so do follow them. Use the correct format as the wrong format can make you lose some marks.
The grammar section requires your understanding of the language. You need to learn the grammar rules and practice many questions.
The literature section will test your understanding of the textbook chapters, along with your writing abilities. The answers you write should be structured well and grammatically correct. The best way to score in the Prose section is to read the chapters a few times and remember the story by heart. Also, take notes on the characters and the important dialogues or scenes. For the poetry section, read the poems and the meaning behind each line. You can write down short notes on the meaning of each line and the message of the poem. If there are any uncommon words in the poems, then do check their meanings too.
