  1. CBSE is now accepting fees only through digital payment methods such as Netbanking, Debit/Credit card (both national/ international).
  2. The requisite fee can also be deposited via digital payment methods Netbanking, debit/credit card (both national/ international). No fee will be accepted via offline mode i.e DD/Postal Order/Money order/ cheque etc. No registration form is to be accepted without a fee.
  3. The fees paid will be updated by the respective bank on the CBSE server within 24 hours of payment.
  4. In the case of bank-related transaction problems of the Fee on the server, the candidates should contact the respective bank through which payment was made. Contact details of the banks are given on the website of CBSE.

Private candidates have to register on the official website to appear in the upcoming board exams 2021. Follow the steps given below to fill the online exam registration.

Step 1: Visit the official website CBSE.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the “Submission of Examination Forms by Private Candidates Class XII” link under the recent announcements section.

CBSE Class 12 Registration 2021- Exam Categories

Compartment Category Applicable to those candidates who could not pass in the main examination held in March and placed into the compartment and appear only in compartment subjects in the coming examination. This is applicable for class 12th candidates. The candidate needs to give previous main examination details for applying. Candidates wishing to appear for all subjects should apply under the Failure category.
Improvement Applicable to those candidates who passed the main examination held in March (immediate previous main examination) and want to improve their performance. The candidate needs to give previous main examination details for applying. Candidates can select the varying subject(s) for improvement.
Failures Applicable to those candidates who could not pass in the Main examination and subsequent compartment chances. The candidate needs to give the previous main (March) examination details for applying and must select at least five subjects. Candidates placed in the compartment category in the previous main examination can also apply in this category. However, in that case, they have to appear in all selected subjects and will be treated as full subject failures.
Additional Subject Applicable to those candidates who passed the main examination held in March and want to study additional subjects (except those already passed). Female/PwD Applicable to women or PwD candidates is a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Candidates can select non-practical subjects.
