The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will be releasing the CA Foundation Exam Form Jan 2025 on 20 September 2024. The candidates who have registered themselves for CA Foundation will be able to submit the exam form online at the ICAI official website till November 23, 2024. The exam form’s last date for the Jan 2025 exams along with a late fee of Rs 600 is 26th November 2024.
Requirements for Applying for January 2025 Exams
The students who want to appear in the January 2025 examinations should verify their status on the Self-Service Portal (SSP) and make sure that they qualify for the respective examination. This will ensure that the candidate can effortlessly fill out the application form for the CA Foundation.
All candidates are advised to read the following points before filling out the exam form.
- Candidates are expected to have a valid login credential on SSP. If not, please visit https://eservices.icai.org/ to create the login.
- The candidates must possess valid course registration. As for any scenario related to the lapsed course registration, kindly ensure the conversion is done on SSP.
Conversion: Candidates whose course code in their dashboard is not “NEWFND23 or CONFND23” must change to the new course before filling out the CA Foundation Exam Form for the September 2024 term. There are no other fees payable.

Some points to note
- Candidates who have not provided the latest photograph and signature or such photographs and signatures that are not clear enough to be printed on the mark sheets have to upload or modify the same on the Self-Service Portal while filling out the CA Foundation Exam Form. The photograph/signatures should be under the specifications mentioned under “Photo Requirements” and “Signature Requirements” in the official notification of ICAI.

Login and Apply
To start with, you have to navigate to the official website of ICAI and then you have to log in with your user ID and password. First-time applicants must register for the CA Foundation course. Then, click the ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed to the next step of the online application process. This is important to note that once you click on “Apply Now”, any changes made to your profile shall not be reflected in your application form.
Fill up the CA Foundation Exam and Submit the Declaration Form
Other important details that should be provided include the registration date, PIN, roll number, qualifying examination – class 12th, and the year of passing the examination, etc. In addition to the CA Foundation Application Form, one must also attach the declaration form. The declaration form/certificate of service can be easily downloaded from the ICAI website for the students. Make sure that all the details provided are accurate; only then click the “Save & Proceed” button.

Submit the CA Foundation Exam Form Fees
Select the ‘Make Payment’ button to proceed towards payment. The payment can be done through online mode only. If the payment is unsuccessful, you can click on the “Pay” button in the dashboard.
Download PDF
You will then be notified by the ICAI of your payment details upon confirmation of the payment. Click on ‘Download PDF’ to download your Exam Form. If your payment was deducted from the bank, but the success message is not shown on the ICAI site, your payment has not been successful. Following this submission, a PDF file will be generated and if the form contains all the right information with the photograph and the signature, then save a soft copy or a hard copy of the same.

ICAI also offers an online facility to change the exam center or medium for the CA Foundation exam. The opportunity called “Correction Window” is provided free of cost. On submission of the request, the candidates receive a “Successful Submission” message on the screen. The CA Foundation exam form January 2025 correction window will be from November 27, 2024, to November 29, 2024.
What after the CA Foundation Examination Form September 2024?
Once the candidates fill out the application form for the CA Foundation correctly, ICAI will release the CA Foundation admit card 14-15 days before the commencement of the exams. Students should note that ICAI has banned the issuance of admit cards through offline means.
Therefore, students must download the admit card of the CA Foundation from the website only. To download the admit card, the students have to log in to the ICAI official website and enter their ID and password. The students must carry their admit cards to the exam centre failing which they can’t sit for the CA Foundation exam.
After filling out the exam form for the Foundation exam, students have to join the CA online classes or offline classes. The students have less time left for the CA Foundation Exams so they have to make a proper plan to cover the syllabus of the CA Foundation Course.
