CA Final Registration Form: Procedure, Fees, & Last Date

 In today’s article, we are sharing you the CA Final Registration Procedure, its fee structure, last date for the submission of CA Final Registration form.

Once you are done with both the groups of CA IPCC, you have to get yourself register for the CA Final course. ICAI has revised the CA Curriculum where students who are getting registration in the CA Course on or after 1st July 2017 have to register themselves with the new scheme.

As you are aware that CA Final exams conduct twice in a year May and November. The students before appearing in CA Final have to register themselves for the articleship and in the last six months of their articleship period,  they will be eligible to appear in CA Final Exams.

CA Final Registration Last Date for Those Who Cleared Both Groups of IPCC Together

The students who have cleared both the groups of CA IPCC together mandatorily require to do CA Final Registration themselves with the CA Final course before commencing articleship training.

If you are doing the late registration, your attempt will get shifted 6 months ahead. So if you cleared CA IPCC both the groups in Nov 2017, you will have to register yourself for Nov 2020 CA Final.

CA Final Registration Last Date for the Students Who Cleared Both Groups Separately

The students who qualified both the groups in different attempt can do CA Final Registration with the ICAI for the CA Final course up to the last six months before they will be eligible to appear in the exam.

If your attempt is Nov 2020, you will have to get register with ICAI at least 6 Months before your CA Final first Exam in which you are eligible to appear.

CA Final Registration Procedure

Candidates can register themselves by filling the Online CA Final Registration Form available on the ICAI website. You will find the form under “Students Tab” under “Course Registration Forms”.

Your CA Final registration will get completed when you make the payment of required fees online through the payment gateway.

Once, you have made the payment, the system will automatically generate the form which is required to get printed and submit it to the regional office of ICAI along with the prerequisite documents.

Documents which are required to be submitted to the concerned regional office within 7 days along with the print out of the CA Final online registration form –

  1. The CA Final registration online form must be duly signed by the candidate.
  2. The form must be submitted with the attested copy of proof of Nationality, if the student, is a foreigner.
  3. Attested copy of proof of special category certificate i.e. SC/ ST/ OBC, Differently abled.

The study material will be sent to the registered address of the student through the Centralized Dispatch System (CDS).

CA Final Registration Fees

You can get register for the CA Final after making the payment of Rs 22000/- for an Indian student.

In case of a foreigner, CA Final Registration Fees shall be US$ 1100.

Criteria for Clearing the CA Final Exam

The entire syllabus of CA Final is divided into two groups. It is not mandatory that student have to appear in both the groups together. A candidate may appear in one group or both the groups simultaneously depending on his preparation.

A CA Finalist will become Chartered Accountant when he is declared pass in the CA Final Examination both the groups.

A candidate shall be declared pass when he secures minimum 40% marks in each paper of a group and 50% in aggregate of all the subjects of a group.
