Why should you solve HP Board 11th Class Question Papers?

Solving HP Board’s previous year question papers or sample papers issued by the HP board will help you prepare for exams. The papers issued by the HP board are based on the latest curriculum/syllabus and marking scheme. So you will be able to understand the exam pattern more clearly and practice for it.

You will also feel more confident and less nervous while giving your actual board exams.

Solving HP Board Class 11 previous year question papers will help you increase your writing speed.

This approach is also beneficial in making a personalized strategy on the approach towards solving exam papers. You can understand and differentiate which type of questions or sections of the paper takes more time or less time. For example, in the English paper, you can decide to first attempt the literature and grammar section in your exams.

When you see the results or marks you have gained in these practice exams, you will be able to know which areas or topics require you to study more and which topics are your strong points (that would only need regular revisions.)

Tips while Solving HP Board 11th Class Sample Question Papers

While solving any sample paper or previous year’s question paper, you can use these tips to gain the most benefits of these papers.

  • Start practice like you are giving your exams. Collector necessary stationery items and sit in a silent environment on a proper study table and chair.
  • Be strict with the timeline of your exam for 3 hours. Stick to the 3-hour duration for solving your practice paper. Keep an alarm clock in the room.
  • Do not cheat and do not keep any electronic items near you.
  • Attempt the questions like you are writing in your actual exams. Try to keep your answer sheet neat and clean. Use a single type of ink pen; even if you change your pen, make sure you use the same type of pen.
  • Take 15 minutes of reading time for question papers and start writing your answers. In those 15 minutes, try to make a strategy on what you should be doing first. Decide which section you should attempt first and what questions would you choose in the internal choice questions. If possible, solve a few questions in your mind and write down their answers as soon as your writing time starts. Move to the other question if you get stuck.
  • After completing your answers, go through them if you have time. Stop writing when 3 hours duration is complete, even if you have not completed your paper.
  • You will know how slow you were and how many questions were left incomplete or unanswered. You can then work on improving your writing speed.
  • Get answers marked fairly and see where improvement is required. Work on the areas and when you feel prepared, take another paper and give it in the same way.
